General notes about all class change quests:
1. All class change quests have at least two major parts to complete.
2.
You can start them as soon as level 19, but many wait until level 20,
so they can complete the class change as soon as they are done with the
quest. You also can use D Grade weapons and armor at level 20
whether you have done the class change quest or not.
3. You can
be in a party while doing the quest, but as with many quests, you MUST
get the last hit on the mob to get credit for the kill.
4.
Some class change quests have the parts drop on every kill, some take
much killing before you get the pieces. If you are not getting
the piece you need, check to make sure you are killing the correct
mobs. If you are killing the right mob, check to see if your
inventory is over 80%. This is not just weight, but also number
of items (remember your quest inventory and the items you are wearing
count towards the final number). If you are not over weight and
you are sure you have the correct mob, just keep killing and you will
eventually get the piece you need.
5. The Grand Masters
and High Priests of your respective profession, will tell you who
starts the quests for your class change quest if you ask them about the
class.
6. Every Chronicle something will change, the
location of spawns, whether or not certain mobs are agro, but the basic
layout of the quest will remain the same.
7. The Quest tab
is your friend and is usually correct and if you get stuck it’s a
good place to check for the next step of the quest or the location of
mobs and NPCs.
8. When you are finished with the quest and
ready to change your profession, go to the last NPC (a Grand Master or
High Priest or High Prefect) and do NOT choose quest. The option
you need is “Get Information on Changing Occupation” choose
the appropriate class for you and the change profession option.
Path to an Assassin
Level: 19
Start Location: Gludio Castle Town
Start NPC: Triskel
Races: Dark Elf
Classes: Dark Elf Fighter
Repeatable: No (Solo)
1. If you want to learn information about the Assassin class you can ask the Grand Master in the Dark Elven guild.

2. Start the quest with Triskel, who stands right outside of the Dark Elven Guild in Gludio.

3.
He will tell you what skills Assassin’s use and if you tell him
you would like to be one he will send you to Arkenia at the Altar of
Dark Rites.

He gives you a letter to take to her so that she will know you come with his blessing.

4. At the Altar of Rites Witch Arkenia will ask if you have come to help her.

5.
Tell her “That is so” and she will tell you about the theft
of Shilen’s Tears and ask you to help her.

6.
If you ask what Shilen’s Tears are, she will tell you the story
of the tears helping to foretell a danger to the Dark Elven
race. Tell her you will find them.

7. She sends you to get information on the theft from Guard Leikan in Gludin.

8. Guard Leikan can be found outside the North Gate in Gludin.

9. Talk to Guard Leikan and he will ask you to do a favor for him.

10.
He will tell you a story of how he bragged to his friends about killing
some beasts who attacked him. He wants you to kill some and bring
him proof so he can show his friends.

11. He will give you a contract and send you to the Neutral Zone.

12. Hunt Moonstone beasts until you collect 10 molars.

13.
When you take them back to Guard Leikan, he will tell you the thieves
are headed by an orc named Calpico who can be found near the School of
Dark Arts.

14.
Calpico is not alone but has several minions, they are not agro until
you attack and then ALL of them will attack you, so bring healing
potions or a healer. You only need to kill Calpico to get
Shilen’s Tears, so one tactic is to kill him and run.

15. Return to Witch Arkenia with the recovered Shilen’s Tears.

16.
She will send you back to Triskel who is happy with your abilities.
He will direct you to Grand Master Tobias, who is nearby in the
guild, to change your profession.

17. Grand Master Tobias will complete the transformation to an Assassin.
